AC stands for Appeal Cases and is part of 'The Law Reports' of England and Wales. 

The following databases provide access. 


The Law Reports are available in LawNet. 

Select 'English Cases' under the 'Cases' Section on the home page. 

Enter the case name e.g. 'Donoghue v Stevenson' or the case citation '1932 1 AC 562'

Click Search. 


Under the Legal comlumn, click on Find Laws by Country or Region

Click on Foreign Laws & Legal Sources

Click on United Kingdom.

Click on Caselaw.  

Select The Law Reports of England and Wales. Appeal Cases can be located there.  

Search by segment, using Party Name or Citation. 


Click on International Materials on the home page. 

Click on United Kingdom

Click on All United Kingdom Cases

Click on Advanced located on the right of the search box at the top pf the screen. 

Using the online form, search by party name or citation.
