JustCite

Launch  LawNet

Click on the Premium menu tab on the top right hand side of the screen. 

Enter keywords and search.


LawNet

Click on the Legal Research menu tab.

Click on the Cases tab.

Click on English Cases just below the Cases tab and search. 

 

Lexis

Under the Legal column, click on Find Laws by Country or Region

Click on Foreign Laws & Legal Sources.

Click on United Kingdom.

Click on Caselaw.

Click on UK Cases, Combined Courts.

Enter key words in the search field under Enter Search Terms.  

To search for key words in specific parts of the law reports, choose the relevant segment under Restrict by Document Segment.

Enter a key word in the search field under Restrict by Document Segment.

Click Add.

Repeat steps 6-8 to add another key word.

Narrow your search by restricting date range at Restrict by Date.

When done, click Search.

 

Westlaw

Simple search:

Launch the database, WestlawNext.

Click on ‘International Materials’ on the right side of the screen.

Click on ‘United Kingdom

Click on ‘All United Kingdom Cases

Enter the key terms into the search box, for example, "Negligence".

You can also Add Filters (by Jurisdiction, Date, Judge, or Attorney) or Search Within Results to narrow your search.

Advanced search:

Launch the database, WestlawNext.

Click on ‘International Materials’ on the right side of the screen.

Click on ‘United Kingdom

Click on ‘All United Kingdom Cases'

Click on Advanced next to the search box.

Enter the relevant terms under the "Find documents that have ..." segment.
