Have you installed the Bloomberg Excel Add-in?
If installation was successful but the file does not appear after downloading:
Press Alt+D (or the gear icon) for Settings menu > Setup > Edit Download Setup > Modify to c:/Temp to download to a temporary folder and click OK
Otherwise, diagnose and repair Excel plug-in.
- Close Excel completely
- Go to Start > All Programs > Bloomberg > API Environment Diagnostic
[Note: if you do not see this option, go to Start > Run (or "Search" if using Windows Vista or Windows 7 and paste the following file path: C:\lp\API\Office Tools\bxladiag.exe]
- When the API Environment Diagnostic tool appears, select "Start." Should any red icons appear, click the "Repair" button
- Re-open Excel
- You reached the maximum daily download limit. I think it's 500,000 items, reset daily at midnight New York time.
