To install the DisplayLink software in MAC OS:

  1. Go to Finder > Go > Connect to server. Type smb://fs21.student.smu.edu.sg/applications follow by clicking + > Connect and login by using your SMU account.
  2. Download and Install the DisplayLink USB Graphics.  The path/directory is:\fs21\Applications\PC_Software_Image\Student\Library Project Room Imation Link Drivers\DisplayLink Installer MAC OS 1.7\DisplayLink_Installer_1.7.dmg
After you have turned on the LCD Panel, plug-in the USB extender cable [found under the table].  Once you have successfully installed,
  1. Go to System Preferences > Display
  2. Click\Check Mirror

Use DisplayLink Mac 1.7 Driver for Lion 10.7, Snow Leopard 10.6, Leopard 10.5, Tiger 10.4.  Use DisplayLink Mac 1.8 Alpha Driver for X Snow Leopard 10.6.8, X Lion 10.7.3, X Mountain Lion 10.8 build 12A128p.
