Q. The publication types are different in IRIS compared to RPS. Why were they changed?

We found that our faculty have a wider range of publication types than RPS catered for. Hence when setting up IRIS, we tried to cater for more publication types

New: e.g. patent and blog post

More grandularity for existing publication types, e.g. conference proceedings article instead of just conference paper; editorial instead of just journal article.
