Q. Can SMU RDR sync with local folders on my computer, similar to how cloud drives work (e.g. Dropbox)?

Unfortunately, you cannot sync folders on your local desktop to SMU RDR, like what you can do using cloud drives such as Dropbox/OneDrive/Google Drive. That means if you need to make frequent changes to your data files, you should not upload them until they are more or less in the final stage. 

It is recommended that you use SMU RDR to store/backup/share your final data, or working data that do not need to be frequently changed.
