Why am I getting this "Access Denied" message?
Answer
There are a few reasons why you are getting this "Access Denied" message:
- If you are an alumni (free membership), you will not be able to access any of the databases.
- If you are an alumni (with paid membership), you are entitled to only selected e-resources and you have to access using Terminal 17 located at LKS Library Level 3.
- If you are a new SMU student, your account will take two to three days to complete after account activation.
- If you are a graduating student, your account might have de-activated. Please check with your school admin or IITS to confirm this.
- If you are a new contract staff, does your account comes with e-access? Please check with your school admin, else you can also write to library@smu.edu.sg
For any other reason not listed above, please write to library@smu.edu.sg.
