Q. What happens if I have lost/damaged a book/library item?

Q: Do I need to replace a lost or damaged library item myself?
No. You do not need to source a replacement. The Library will handle this.

Q: What charges will I need to pay?
You will be charged the actual replacement cost of the item, plus a S$25 administrative charge.

Q: What happens if an item is overdue for more than one month?
The item will be assumed lost, and the full replacement fee will be charged.

Q: What if I later return an item that was assumed lost?
The outstanding charge will be reduced to either the overdue fines or the S$25 administrative charge, whichever is higher.
