Q. I borrowed a book but my loan period is shorter than my entitlement. Why is this so?

1. Books which are in heavy demand (with multiple holds) will have their loan period shorten so that more users can get access to them.

2. Your library membership is about to expire. Your loan cannot extend beyond the date when your card expires, so the loan period has been shortened.
