For a published journal article, the Library checks SHERPA/ROMEO for the version that can be archived in InK and consults the faculty to place the appropriate version in InK.
Many publishers allow one of the following versions in a repository:
- published version
- postprint or author's final version after peer review but before publisher’s copy-editing or formatting
- preprint version prior to peer review and publishing
