Q. Why can't I change anything in my publication records in IRIS?

The first load of publications into IRIS via a special import done by the vendor and we made all the records Validated. In Validated status, you are not able to edit the records. Click on Request Change and let us know what you need amended and the Library will make the change for you.

For the new records that you create, when you Save the record, you can continue to edit the record. Only click on Submit for publications with the status Published or Advance Online.
