You can read Vitalsource ebooks on the app Bookshelf. Here are the steps: 

1) Search for the Vitalsource ebook that you want to read from here Vitalsource E-Textbooks  or from your link on eLearn and click on the book. 

2) On the top right, either click on the 3-dot menu or click on "Open App". 

3) You will be prompted to download and install the app "Bookshelf" if you do not have it already.

4) Follow on-screen instructions to download the ebook to read offline.

  1. From step iii, must the search be performed in the app to download the book offline? I access the book on my via the SMU library website, which directs me to the vital source app and then the app. Using this method, I do not see any download key. I tried step iii but am not able to locate "SMU LIBRARIES" or the textbook in question on the app.
