In Bloomberg, enter MA <GO> to access the Mergers & Acquisitions: Deal List function. For additional filters, select Edit Search in the red toolbar.
To display M&A data using multi-criteria filters like date and sector, click the Advanced Search option to access.
- From the Search Criteria section, select a sub-category (e.g. Date Range, Sector/Industry, etc) and a window appears with corresponding fields and/or options.
- In the (Search Criteria) window, update the fields and/or options, then click the Update button. Your selections appear in the Selected Search Criteria section.
- To see the list of matching deals, at the bottom-right of the screen, click the "Results" button, then click the "Deal List" tab.
