Q. What are the digital badges issued by SMU Libraries?

Digital badges are a form of verifiable credential. Each badge consists of an image and metadata that are uniquely linked to an individual recipient. Badge recipients can easily publish their badges via online platforms and social media network like LinkedIn to showcase their competencies and achievement.

SMU Libraries are currently issuing digital badges for selected library programmes, such as the Python 101 workshop series and the Research Ready workshop series offered as part of the Skill Myself Up Library Workshops.
