From A-Z Database, under New York Times, click onto "One-time registration".
You may be prompted to enter SMU password if you have not previously done so.
Next, you will see the following screen asking "Did you mean nytimes.com?"
Please click onto "Ignore" button.
After that, you should be brought into the "registration page" as shown below and NOT "New York Times" article page.
For first timer, please click "Create Account" as highlighted #1 below.
If you used SMU email address to register an account with NYT before, or as a trial user, please click onto "Log in here >>" as highlighted #2 below.
Then enter your SMU email address in the box provided and click "Continue".
Proceed with the rest of the instruction provided will do.
